Your 30s can be just as confusing as your 20s, but you finally got your life together (kind of). You may have a great job, adorable house, and somewhat of a 401 (K). But are you taking care of your health? Or your skin? Here are five things you might want to consider before lines and wrinkles settle in.

1. Exfoliate on a regular basis

Dead skin can build-up and lead to breakouts on your skin, which you’re still susceptible to in your 30s and it also deepens fine lines. Buff your body a few times a week with a salt scrub and you’ll be warding off both.

2. Wash your face once a day

Most likely you are probably still in the habit of removing any and all oil from your face. But we are not teenagers anymore, ladies. More than one heavy scrubbing a day might be overkill, dehydration and possible wrinkle down the road. Instead, swap your evening routine for a more gentle cleanser.

3. Invest in a good eye cream

It can be really hard to find a good eye cream, so many different brands promise amazing results and most end up falling short. A lot of the products out right now are geared toward those who want to reverse the signs of aging. Find just a simple, thick cream to hydrate your under eyes. (P.S. 4. Get on board with SPF

You need it in your moisturizer. In your makeup. In a mist. Anything and everything.

5. Beauty Sleep

Do not underestimate the power of a good night’s rest. No amounts of creams and cleansers can replace a quality night’s sleep. This gives your cells plenty of time to repair themselves. Trust us! Your collagen will thank you!
